Sonia and Yuvra’s mehndi was so colorful, full of traditions that spanned cultures and peoples, and truly inspired. It was coming together and celebration of two families and two people so in love. We had some time before the event began for a portrait session at the Planting Field Arboretum and I’m so happy it worked out because the grounds and garden were spectacular and such a perfect backdrop for these two. Sonia’s traditional floral jewelry was so delicate and matched her beautiful green and purple outfit so well. These two have been together since high school and seeing them and their families come together in this way was so beautiful. The celebrations started with Sonia arriving in her dholi, mehndi being applied to the bride by all the well wishers, singing and dancing that then continued into the night!
