NYC
There are times when I want to desperately leave New York City. I was raised in the midwest and I’m used to having space around me and carpet…and clean sidewalks…and a car. Oh man, how I miss having a car! However the majority of the time, I’m struck by how lucky I am to live in (one) of the greatest cities of the world – its like this chaotic mess that is just beautiful. I often like to walk around at night with my headphones on, taking in all the sights and smells and the people, yet slightly isolating myself with my music. Its how I’ve always experienced places and life. Even though I’ve lived here for a few years now, many times I’ll discover something new and exciting and some uncharted territory, and it will reignite that adventurous spirit and make me understand that this city is ever changing and so intricate…just like I hope I am as well.
Last night I looked out the window in my apartment and realized how awesome the view really is…and it reminded me of how much I love this city. I was also playing around with my shiny new super wide angle lens
Wow, that is a great view, I am coming to New York very soon for my first visit ever from Canada. I love looking at your site, your photos are beautiful. I am a new photographer and can’t wait to bring my new camera to New York!
Hi Tara, I love your work! I’m just starting out into photography. My website is almost done, yayy! I will be in New York next month and would love to meet you.
I love this view. You have such a good eye for the shots. You capture such simple things in life, that we miss and pass bye in our day to day life. Good luck. Wish all the success in your business.
