My Big Year
2011. The year I got married.
I realize I’ve been fairly quiet about the topic of my own life and sometimes this is intentional and sometimes it is not. This year has been such a whirlwind and so many times I sat down to write something but I didn’t know where to begin. Specifically… my engagement and wedding, which culminated in not one but TWO intense and beautiful weddings, to a man that to me is simply, home. It was an incredible year filled with stress, logistics, planning, juggling so many more things than I thought possible…but in the end, it resulted in a spectacular culmination of hard work, family, friends, faiths and cultures. It was overwhelming and wonderful. It was also extremely odd and at times difficult for me to be on the other side of everything…being the bride. Perhaps in the future I’ll relay more of the story of who we are and our celebrations…for now though I wanted to post a photo from each big event for you. My fabulous photographers Stephanie Fay and Susan Stripling were just amazing and I so appreciate their hard work. Thank you guys!
