Christine + Matt | Block Island Sullivan House Wedding
Christine and Matt’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing, and reflected their personalities in the perfect ways – effortless, elegant, laid back and so well put together. Block Island and it’s seaside charm is such a special place for both of them, and they wanted to make sure their guests were able to take in the stunning views and experience the little town. For their portraits we got to venture around the fun buoy wall and the docks near the marina. We then headed to the chapel in town for the ceremony. Christine’s uncle officiated the ceremony which made it all the more special for everyone. The Sullivan House served as the amazing location for their first look and tented reception, and views in all directions were so beautiful. As if the day couldn’t get any better, during the reception the clouds parted for one of the most spectacular sunsets I have ever seen in my life, at the same time as a full rainbow in the other direction. It was just one of those days that inspired everyone there, with two sweet people and families come together. I count myself lucky to be able to have been able to be there to capture it.
Special thanks to Jon Lemon for second shooting with me, and Caitlin from True Events for her guidance and help!
