Where do I start…Where do I begin?

  /   My Life

The title of this post refers to a Chemical Brother’s song that I believe was featured in the soundtrack of the movie – Vanilla Sky. It comes to mind only because I like the song a lot and was listening to it the other day. The title of the song is so appropriate for my photography right now – I have so much eagerness to learn about it, do it better, improve my skills and most of all be able to take and create gorgeous and unique images for not only myself, but the people who come into my life, whether it be clients, friends or family.

Its tough balancing out the hours I’ve been spending in front of the computer and books learning about the art of photography, with my everyday life, but this is something I will be keeping up for a long time, so I have to work it in somehow. Reading blogs, websites, wikipedia, taking classes, randomly taking pictures every chance I have…you name it, I’ve been doing it. There is so much inspiration out there in the everyday world that I now find myself looking for that neat scene/image everywhere I look.

So, where do I start? Where do I begin? Well, I guess the answer is – start anywhere, anytime, start now. But most of all start with excitement and commitment to learn and grow, and passion to create, at the very least, an image that will make someone’s day memorable.

This image is simple and elegant – and continues to inspire me from the moment I found it 4 years ago.

(I would credit the photographer, but unfortunately, I don’t remember where I found it – if you do know, let me know so I can give credit where credit due.)
