This post is really special to me. I had the honor and privilege of being the wedding photographer for Bharath and Seetal a few years ago – it was a majestic wedding in downtown Chicago and one I will never forget. We just clicked, from the dinner we had after their engagement session, to the many conversations before their wedding, to feeling like one of the family while at and shooting the wedding, and so much more. Over the years they have become some of my best friends and I am so incredibly grateful for their friendship and support.

When I found out they were expecting, I was overjoyed. I mean have you seen them – I knew their baby would be absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t wait to meet her. I also couldn’t wait to capture their maternity photos – a way to remember a special time in life for them before their family grew a little bigger. Parker, their playful lab also joined in for the fun and I really love how these turned out – both because See is so stunning and glowing, and because they mean so much to me. We started off in their beautiful home in Cobble Hill and then over to the Brooklyn waterfront promenade to enjoy the summers evening.
