Nicole + Justin | Engagement

Introducing … Nicole and Justin. Nicole and I have been chatting via email and chat, getting to know each other a bit and she’s been explaining all about her upcoming big day, marrying Justin on the beaches of Lake Michigan in St. Joseph, Michigan. I used to work around there one summer and I always admired the beauty of the great lake and the surrounding areas, so I’m really really excited to be able to photograph their wedding day in June. I headed back to the midwest a few weeks ago for their engagement session, and we had a nice time taking in the rare sunshine filled day in March, with not a cloud in the sky. Spring yet?

Wow…busy busy busy is the name of my life right now…I’m sure many of you can relate. On one hand it makes me feel so alive and crazy and like I’m accomplishing things…on the other hand it makes me feel like time is flying by and already 1/4 of 2009 is over (what??? really???). I can’t believe how time just seems to fly faster by as I get older.

Well anyway it’s been a little while since I posted but here is a quick few pictures for now while I work on editing a few really cool engagement sessions. I went out to the midwest a few weeks ago for an esession and visiting my family – while there I grabbed a few pictures of my best friend…this girl is gorgeous isn’t she? She’s always the most gracious model and up for anything…thanks T!

Shaun + Diedra | Engagement

Shaun and Diedra are so great together. I met them earlier this year when we talked about their little story and their upcoming wedding. They fit together so well, and I was really smiling through out their engagement session because even though it was the second time I was hanging out with them. Their happiness, joy and peace with each other and life is just so apparent. We ventured to the Bronx Botanical Gardens for their session, and though it was a somewhat overcast day, I think we got some nice moments – and their wonderful smiles. I’m excited for their wedding in August, it will really be a great occasion.

Christine + Brad | Newport Wedding!

A few weeks ago, I had the delight of traveling to Newport, RI to help Autumn photography Christine and Brad’s wedding. I loved every minute of it! Newport is a great little sea town and there was so much character to the place – lots of New England charm! This charming vibe was very much a part of the wedding and Christine and Brad just looked so happy. Thanks to the newly wedding couple and Autumn for letting me partake in the wedding.
