I recently met up with some of my photog friends in the west village of Manhattan for a little lunch and a little impromptu photo shoot. Its so great meeting up with other photographers and chit chat about business, life, and the latest in technology. It was a bitter cold (again) day but it was really fun just hanging out, eating a bit of Italian food, and snapping a few pics. Here are a few below…

Wow, it is cold outside. But I’m warm on the inside of my apartment and about to cuddle up with a blanket on my couch and watch a movie. For all you new yorkers out there – just to let you know, I just tried the Shake Shack, and I have become a fan now. I have been hearing about this places for so long, and in my years in nyc, I have never been. So, I decided to trek it over there with a friend today and my my, it is GOOD. Being vegetarian, I’m always a little wary of burger joints, but this was awesome. I realized I haven’t had a shake in years and years, so that was a nice treat too…and considering I ran a 10k this afternoon at the gym (6.4ish miles), I figured it was OK to indulge in a shake

I’ve been going through some older photos from 2008 and before to put together some collages – here is a photo of a friend that I really liked – love the brick building and walkway….
After a crazy busy finish to 2008, I’ve taken the last few weeks – or the first few weeks in January 2009 to recoup, regroup, plan a few things out and get situated. This past weekend was great, got to sleep in, got some runs in at the gym, and have been making headway on a few projects – one of them being getting some sturdy weather proof boots. Seriously, I really needed them, I was tired of having puddles *in* my boots when the weather got the least bit on the wet side.
