Summertime…

I think summertime is officially here. Its above 85 degrees everyday and wow is it humid – I mean so humid that sometimes its hard to take a deep breath because the air is that thick. NYC can get really icky when its so hot, but there are some pleasant things in the city in the summer – central park, air conditioned apartments, air conditioned retail therapy, and tourists, heh. It is however, time for the beach and sun and picnics and hanging out with friends and family. Thought I’d post a few pics that remind me of summer fun…

Linda + Paul | Wedding

A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure of second shooting for Autumn for Linda and Paul’s wedding in Mystic, CT. It was such a great location, right on the water and the perfect weather. Helping Autumn out as well as getting to know Paul, Linda and their wonderful and welcoming families was great. I really had a great time and definitely a lot of fun at the reception. Check out some of the images below in addition to some of the detail shots I posted earlier.

Friends

Here are few pics that I’ve been snapping of my friends and random things … still working out some edits for a few weddings I’ve been to but wanted to get something up since its been a week! I’m still playing around a lot with TRA2 and they are sooo great. I love the feel I can give to my photos now…something new for me, a new style.

Nothing like the greenery of Central Park when you live in the city…

Really like the overall feel of this:

Isn’t this such a beautiful cake?

And finally some of my gorgeous friends :)

NYC | Around

Here are some older images that I’ve taken around NYC wandering around with my camera….all processed with the amazing Totally Rad Actions Part 2.  I love the vintage-y look that these have…totally something that I’m not used to for my own style, but I do really really like it.
