Yearly Archives: 2008

2008 is over?

I really don’t know where the year went. Here we are, last day of 2008 and I can’t believe it. Its been an interesting year and a really great one in terms of photography for me. I’m building my photography arsenal and just trying to get out there and shoot more. I love taking photos of people. Just love it. I’ve come back from a few weddings this year assisting and doing some of my own portraits and I think to myself at the end of the night – oh my, I’m so tired, I can’t get up and do more photos tomorrow. But then I wake up, and I’m fully charged and rested and ready to go again, to create eye candy. Photos are total eye candy to me – I love taking them and looking at them. I feel like I have so much in me to expand on with my photography and I can’t wait for 2009 to grow exponentially and meet some awesome new potential clients, as well as other photographers.

On that note …. hope everyone has a great new years eve! I did the ball drop last year – had to do it once in my life – see the times sq ball drop….but don’t think i’ll be doing it again anytime soon :) Be safe everyone!

Sneha + Abey | Engagement

I had the pleasure of photographing Sneha and Abey’s engagement ceremony in Westchester county, New York a few weeks ago. The whole event was so colorful and bright despite the chilly weather outside. Sneha has such a beautiful smile and wonderfully cheerful personality, and Abey is a gracious gentleman. Their families made me feel very welcome at this joyous occasion. Their wedding is in Kerala, India next year and I wish I could be there to see them be married and wish them all the best. But, for now – I hope the photos I captured detail a little bit of the happiness shared between Sneha, Abey and their families.

Rishi | Portraits

Rishi is quickly becoming a friend that I feel like I’ve known forever. He is a dear friend of my best friend and when we were all hanging out in nyc, we decided to snap some photos. He is so photogenic, so comfortable in front of the camera…it was easy to get great shots! It was sooo cold but we managed to keep warm enough to get photos – hope you enjoy!

Colette | Portraits

This girl is too cute. I had the chance to take some portraits of Colette a little while ago. Her eyes speak volumes and are just so clear blue and gorgeous. It was a cold day but we braved it for the chance at some fun in the snow and some photos. Here are a few of my favorites.
